Smith And Hawken Closing Its Doors After 30 Years

Smith & Hawken, a gardening store that's apparently really popular with everyone but me, is closing its doors after being in business for more than 30 years. With the news, the store has begun slashing prices up to 30 percent creating a buzz across the nation and leaving up to 700 employees without a job once the store finally clGardenoses its doors for good. Orders through the site have risen steadily and orders are met with a note saying, "Thank you for 30 wonderful years in the garden".
I've never shopped at the store, but it's always sad when you hear of a business closing its doors especially when it results in so many people losing their jobs. With people everywhere feeling the pinch from the economy, there's never been a better time to save some money anywhere you can. That's why Starving Students encourages all of our customers to take advantage of our offers to save some money on your move.
