Regina Benjamin Appointed Surgeon General -- To Give Obama Cram Session?

President Barack Obama has named Regina Benjamin as the new surgeon general, the nation's highest public-health post. Benjamin, a family physician from Alabama, has won numerous national accolades, including the MacArthur Regina_BenjaminFoundation's "genius award," the Nelson Mandela Award for Health and Human Rights and a selection as one of America's Best Leaders by U.S. News last year. Benjamin is the first African-American woman to be named to the post and the appointment of Benjamin comes shortly after the Sonia Sotomayor was named as the first Latina to be named as a Supreme Court justice. Starving Students would like to encourage Benjamin to take into account the health of Starving Students. While we're not really starving and not all of our employees are students, we can certainly help the economy out by saving our customers on their next move with our Cram Session, which would be a really nice way to say thanks to the president for his decision.
