Artest Signs With Lakers To Kick Off 4th Of July Fireworks

Ron Artest verbally agreed to a three-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers worth a reported $18.7 million. The deal, which pairs Artest with Kobe Bryant to go along with Pau Gasol, could result in the next dynasty, if you believe this reporter. The Artest deal resulted in the Lakers losing a key cog to last year's championship run, Trevor Ariza, a 6'8" Ron_Artest_Kobesmall forward out of UCLA. Ariza is reportedly signing with the Houston Rockets, Artest's former team, filling the gap that the new Laker left behind and joining a team that suddenly has a lack of starpower with Tracy McGrady not quite playing like the old T-Mac we loved and Yao Ming possibly missing next season. The signing ultimately kicks off the holiday weekend with a bang for the Los Angeles Lakers, who are looking to repeat their 2008-09 championship season's performance. Likewise, Starving Students is hoping to get your 4th of July weekend with a bang with our offer to save you $20 off of your move tomorrow. Check out our offer and see how you can save $20 on your move for the fourth and if you're not moving tomorrow, give our Cram Session a shot and save on your move.
