Obama To Kids -- Do Good

President Obama's speech encouraging children to succeed in school has drawn quite a bit of criticism from those who think thObamaat the president would be better off spending his time on other issues at this time than explaining to children the importance of taking care of business in the classroom. Not surprisingly, the president moved forward with the speech on Tuesday, encouraging children to take responsibility in themselves and he even included references to Xbox, because our president is cool. He even threw in references to his own childhood and showed empathy towards children that might have it a little bit tougher in these times as they head back to school. Check out the text of his historic speech here. Of course, we're all having it just a little tougher right now with the economy the way that it is and we at Starving Students realize this, too.
