Paula Abdul Decides To Leave American Idol -- Shuns Simon

Longtime American Idol judge Paula Abdul has announced that she won't be returning to the massively-popular talent show for Paula_Abdulthe ninth season, making the annoucement via Twitter. Abdul leaves the show with just three remaining judges -- Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi, along with host Ryan Seacrest -- all of whom have signed contracts for the show's ninth season. Paula Abdul has had a long career spanning across multiple media, including a stint as a Laker Girl, a much-acclaimed singer and her latest stint as a judge on American Idol. Abdul, who has been on the show since it first began in 2002, reportedly turned down an eight-figure deal that represented a 30 percent raise over her previous contract. She hasn't released a statement indicating why she's leaving the deal. We're not sure if this means she'll be moving out of the Los Angeles area but if so, Starving Students would be happy to offer her a two-figure discount of $20 off of her move. She or anyone can take advantage of this discount by giving us a call at (888) 931-MOVE (6683) or shoot us an e-mail here This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
