Great California Garage Sale Promise Fortune Teller Machines

This weekend and this weekend only, take advantage of The Great California Garage Sale and help fill the hole that exists within the state budget. Among the items that will be up for auction will be a number of former state vehicles, part of Governor Schwarzenegger's plan to reduce the state's vehicle fleet by 15%. The bidding for some of these vehicles have us thinking about making a trip up to Sacramento, where the auction will be helGarage_Saled. While every vehicle has already has been placed on eBay and has received bids already, they're on the relatively cheap side of the fence. A Ford Taurus is running at about $1,500 currently with a 2003 receiving a bid of $6,000. And that's not all. There are also your everyday office items and believe it or not, eight fortunte teller machines that the DMV has had for years (why???), some old pianos from state parks and the top list on everyone's wishlist, some dental chairs from prisons. Nope, we're not making this up. Because we're at our headquarters here in Los Angeles and can't make it up to Sacramento to buy some of the goodies that are sure to have everyone voting for Arnold again next election, we're looking to hire some of our movers to pick up our winnings.
