Celebrity gossip icon Perez Hilton alleaged he was assaulted by Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am and his bodyguards, an act the blogger reported to police via Twitter. The attack took place at 3 a.m. on the night in question in Toronto where Hilton was scheduled to attend the MuchMusic Award show on Sunday night. Following the attack, Hilton sent several tweets asking followers to send police to his hotel, tweets that included updates as to his physical health as well. A short time later, Hilton thanked those who expressed concern and asked his followers to stop contacting the Toronto police. Will.i.am, whose musical group's new album features hit single , "Boom, Boom, Pow", later created a Twitter account and denied the assault.
